What is the East Valley Police Activity League Supporters (PALS)?

Started in 1968, East Valley Pals is a non-profit booster organization for the North Hollywood Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.  Our board raises funds and provides financial support for the men and women of the LAPD.  It often comes as a surprise to the average Angeleno how difficult it is for the city to pay for some essential equipment, training, and special events. PALS attempts to bridge that gap, acting as a lifeline to our financially challenged city.

02

Supporting Local Youth

Encourage, support and sustain LAPD sponsored youth programs within the Division with an emphasis on the Cadet and Jeopardy programs.

03

Strengthen "Community Policing"

Participate, support, and strengthen “community policing” in Los Angeles, serving as communication conduits between the public and the Los Angeles Police Department.

What happens when you donate to PALS?

-The connection between kids and LAPD officers in our Division grows stronger, through the additional resources provided. The young men and women gain a better understanding of personal accountability, character development, and power of contributing to the community.

-Officers have access to enhanced training building their skill set to better prepare them for complicated and complex situations.

-PALS is able to host a “Community Partnership Luncheon” and special events throughout the year honoring and recognizing our officers for their outstanding work. This creates a more positive and productive work environment.

-Our station receives essential supplies and equipment not provided by the City of Los Angeles.  Cutting edge technology and other critical tools that help our officers make Los Angeles one of the safest big cities in America.
